The Order of The Astral Star is an organization of High Ceremonial/Ritual Magickians & Mysitcs, Christian Witches, & Christo Pagans with numerous Temples, Associate Members, Members, and Honorary Members in the United States. We have members in Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, and several other states. We primarily practice what is generally referred to as, "Golden Dawn" style Ritual and Ceremonial Magick, but we do so within a more "general" Christian context. Our liturgical year is basically Roman Catholic/Anglican, with some additions and deletions. We use Dion Fortune's book, Mystical Meditations on The Collects in our weekly meditations in our worship services. The Order was founded in Georgetown Kentucky on November 1st, 1980. The Order of The Astral Star was incorporated as a non-profit religious and fraternal corporation in The Commonwealth of Kentucky on the Vernal Equinox, 1993.
S.T. (Stellar Temple) Polaris is the local group active in/for Central Kentucky.
