Group Overview: We are currently accepting new members to our Circle! If you are interested in joining or if you would like to know more about us, please send an email. We hope to either plan a meeting or a 2009 Samhain Ritual and dinner! A big thank you to those who stopped by our Kitchen Witch table at the 2009 Pagan Pride Day!
A Kitchen Witch, also sometimes known as a Cottage Witch, is one who's magical works are mainly centered on hearth and home. Most of a Kitchen Witch's work is done in the kitchen, as you may have guessed, and/or other areas of the home. The entire dwelling is seen as sacred space, not just a particular room where ritual is held. A Kitchen Witch uses herbs in their cooking to bring protection, prosperity or healing. Brews of teas and elixers are sometimes used to clear the mind. Crafts and charms in the forms of wreaths, dried herbs and flowers are displayed within the home. Kitchen Witchery can be used as ones sole practice or in conjunction with other paths. Please contact me for information. We are currently trying to establish a group for monthly meetings and activities.
