Group Overview: Hello all. I have taken the time to copy down the orders Code Of Conduct from our Book Of Shadows, for you guys to kind of get a feel for how the coven runs....
I. Code Of Conduct
When joining this coven, you agree to the following terms and conditions: There shall be no slanderous behavior amongst the coven. Slander is, intentional or purposeful, lies and rumours, said by one coven member about another, with the intent of ruining that members reputation amongst other things. There also shall be no false intent, meaning joining the coven under false pretenses. To elaberate further, you are are agreeing that you genuinly wish to join the coven, not to mock us, or do it because you were dared to. The reason for this being simple, me nor the rest of the coven wish to have our times wasted by those who arent really in it for the right reasons. You are also agreeing that you understand the ranks. The highest position is held by me, and that is high priest. Beneath me is, a priest and a priestess. Each will have an apprentice. Beneath them are all the rest. The roles of these ranks and additional ranks will be described in a later section. There will need to be an understanding that all coven members are to respect other's personal beliefs, and not judge other members based on race, gender, mental status, sexual orientation, or national origin (there is a difference) . As a member you are agreeing to promote a positive image not only of being a wiccan, but a positive image of wicca, and our coven. When you act in an ill mannered or ignorant way, it reflects negativly on you, your religion, and on our coven. All members of our coven, agree to uphold our coven, and to take pride in it, and all its members. If you go against these things, myself and other high ranking members, will convene, and come to an agreement on a proper course of action. This includes, but is not limited to: Expulsion from the coven, a blocade and warning being sent to ALL local covens, banning you from joining any local coven. A coven trial (which will be explained in a later section) and other such punishments that do not interfere with local laws, will or could be used as well. All punishments will be just, and shall fit the offense. The coven shall meet at designated times established by me, the high priest. If you are unable to attend a gathering, you will need to alert me or another high ranking member. If any member misses more than three gatherings, without due reason, and alerting myself or other high ranking member, they will be immediatly expelled from the coven, and will not be allowed back. There may be a fee collection as needed., to cover materials and tools for the coven. If you are unable to contribute, please let me know. The coven philosophy on this matter is, all that are able need to contribute, for in the coven, we are one. We are united by an undying faith, and by the bonds of humanity, so if any member is need of help, we (the coven) need to step up and aid them. The coven is your family. There will be no selfishness, only selflessness. If you agree to these above stated things, and still wish to become a member of our coven, I will have you sign the registration paper.
