Group Overview: Taurë Alcarin (tow-ray Al-car-in) is a coven in the Greencraft Tradition of Wicca. As a tradition we emphasize worship of the Divine in both the male and female aspects, as the all, and as the micro and macro; in order to aid in the spiritual development and health of our members. Our training utilizes the complimentary approaches of didactic and experiential instruction, with the goal being a personal experience of the Mysteries.
We celebrate the 8 Wiccan Sabbats, hold a Feast of the Fallen Warriors ritual in November, and hold working Esbats as they are called for by members of the coven.
It is recommended that a seeker first read, “The Heart of Wicca” by Ellen Cannon Reed before contacting us (though its not required prior to training) . This excellent book gives an honest view of what can be expected when joining a traditional Wiccan group.
