Group Overview: Ours is a sacred path of eclectic wicca. We teach and embrace philosophies, ideas, magic based on the beliefs and practices of what we know of our ancient ancestors Ours is not a direct lineage traceable back to an ancient tradition. Ours, however, is a teaching of connectedness to deity; to that which connects us all, at a cosmic and earthly level, to spirit and each other.
We believe and teach that each path is sacred to the seeker and can only be walked by the seeker. It is our goal and commitment as teachers of the Moondance Circle, to walk with the seeker as his or she guide into a journey of self discovery and connectedness, into a journey of stewardship, honor, and appreciation to and for our mother earth, into a journey of greater wisdom and a deeper understanding of what it means to not only embrace, but to walk and live a more connected life.
Ours is a simple path, we live, as best we can, by the Wiccan Rede, we take care of each other, we do community service work, and we take personal responsibility for ourselves and our actions.
We welcome seekers to inquire about our classes. We, also, welcome individuals, with previous training in the Craft with or without degrees, to our circle. All levels of knowledge and understanding are welcome and embraced.
Our sabbats are open to the public through The Sacred Paths Community Center of Livingston Parish (formally Louisiana Pagans) Find us at our Meet Up site below.
