Group Overview: Blue Star is a long standing tradition of Wicca, with covens throughout North America and Europe. We are Iron and Cypress, a Blue Star coven in the New Orleans area, with a focus on worship of European Gods/Goddesses, and teaching traditional Wicca. The coven is run by Kenny Klein, a high priest of Blue Star (and a Llewellyn author, and known performer) . People interested in visiting and joining must be willing to show dedication, and to work at learning and experiencing traditional Wicca. You will receive a very thorough training, and if you stick it out, a well deserved initiation in a highly respected tradition of the Craft.

We accept all interested students from beginner to experienced Pagan looking to learn Wicca. We are open to all genders and sexual orientations, though bear in mind this is traditional Wicca, and we reference the union of Goddess and God as the source of all life in our rituals (while we respect any sexual union in our personal lives) .
