Group Overview: Community Support: Open Circles - Handfastings & Rites of Passage - In Person Teaching - Group Overview: Founded in 1994. Circles are open and public for all Sabbats. We hold classes and seminars and offer degrees (First, etc.) Our initiate exam is college level and we include History and Anthropology, as well as ritual and magical subject matter in our courses. Any fees are reasonable and negotiable. (Applicants may be subject to a backround check through NCIC screening.) Our students can get discounted prices on books and supplies when available. We offer Correspondance courses. These courses are interactive and NOT internet.
Our clergy can perform legal marriages and all rites of passage, including situation specific rituals for turbulent times. (ie. MISCARRIAGE, DIVORCE, ABORTION) Those who seek eventual ordination through our programs, can receive a valid clergy status with tax exemption and affilliation for their new church with our referral to ATC.
We are involved in many inter-faith actions and founded the Pagan/Wiccan prison ministries in La., and across the Nation.We are area chaplains (hospitals, university) and work in various social causes. We have a local food and sundry bank, as well as a bi-annual toy and clothing drive. We are trusted and respected by area media, and are frequently in the public eye. We assist law enforcement on all levels, when a crime appears to have "occult" overtones.
We sponsor PNO and Movie Night, as well as Community Breakfasts.
We take care of one another. We welcome solitaries as well as covens under the umbrella of our church. We are friendly and colorful. If eccentric were music, we would be a concerto!! As you can see, we are busy and tired! Come and visit when you can.
