Group Overview: Seren Draig, an active coven located in Boston, is the third incarnation under the leadership of the same High Priest. Originally founded in 1985 as StarSerpent Coven of the N.Y. Welsh Traditionalist Gwyddonaid, it became known as Coron Morwyn Coven of the Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid upon the founding of that Tradition.
Seren Draig Coven of the Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid is led by Lord Taliesin and Lady Cordelia, who has been with the Tradition from its formation. Lady Cordelia, High Priestess of Seren Draig Coven and Outer Court, received training, initiation and elevation to the sublime and ultimate degree within the Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid at the hand of Lord Taliesin. She also brings a long history of practice as a family traditionalist to CTG, something that is clearly reflected in her coven practice, both by her loving nature and her fierce devotion to her families, both mundane and magickal.
Seren Draig is a teaching coven that is focused on the personal growth of its initiates and the growth of the Tradition. We meet regularly for Esbats, Sabbats, and classes and other occasions (i.e. handfastings, sainings, healings, etc.) as they arise. Our rituals and gatherings are closed to the general public.
We are actively seeking new students who will be a good fit for our “family.” Potential applicants should be willing to learn, worship, and serve the God and Goddess all within the context of a Traditionalist Craft hierarchy.
