Cani di Artimi

Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: Fall River, Massachusetts
Key Contact: Kedeshim

Spiritual Path: Italian Traditionalist
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Legal Clergy... Teaching Available

Group Overview: Cani di Artimi (Hounds of Artemis) is the founding coven for the Wolfheart lineage of Italian-American Traditionalist Witchcraft. We recommend that seekers review the article on our tradition (La Branca della Cori di Lupa) on Witches Voice before contacting us.

While we work hard to learn and grow as a Priesthood in our Path, we are also - first, last, and always - a family. We are all brothers and sisters, daughters and sons, in our Witchery. Membership is by invitation only, though we do welcome enquiries. The scions of the True Craft are scattered, and the door is always open to wandering kin who want to come home.

Our coven takes its time in screening people. We do this so that you are sure that we are your family, and vice versa. We do this because we believe that we have something of value, beauty, and power, that is precious to us.

If you feel a connection to what we represent and strive towards, contact us. In your introduction, please include some of your background (both mundane and spiritual) , what you hope to gain from working with us, current affiliations, and anything else that you feel is pertinent.

Based on this, we will A) perform divinations as to your role in our Fate (and vice versa) and B) invite you to meet with us at a local safe place (usually a cafe) . If both A and B are positive experiences, we may encourage you to participate in our outer court (Stars of Elysium) , as well as join us for social functions, in order to more deeply get to know each other. We may also set preliminary tasks (books to read and discuss, etc) at this time to gauge dedication and discipline.

Again, we are a closely knit family, so this process may take some time. If all goes well, an invitation may be extended to dedicate to the coven, which serves as a probationary period. When that sense of family is duly earned, we will all mutually decide to make the bond a more lasting one (which, we hope, is to mutual benefit and growth in the Craft) .

Please note that our coven takes little part in the extended Pagan subculture, preferring to focus upon our extended tribe and (most importantly) active involvement in the community in which we live. However, individual members may (or may not) maintain a presence in the greater subculture at their discretion.
