Group Overview: Queen of Heaven Circle is based in Hagerstown, Maryland and meets at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hagerstown.
Queen of Heaven Circle celebrates the Goddess and the Earth Cycles with a variety of programs for families, women and men group focused rituals. We feel that this is a place to practice honest and caring communication as well as a place to educate anyone who is interested in earth-based Spirituality. We chose the circle formation because we feel this is how a culture listens and learns from everyone in it and that equality is shared in this formation. Though the name of our group is feminine, men are welcome to help plan and celebrate as we welcome all.
We meet once a month for celebrations, activities and more based on the Wheel of the Year. You can meet with us every third Sunday in the month to plan rituals and celebrations at Border book store in Hagerstown. Men are welcome to help in planning our celebrations. Queen of Heaven Circle practices spirituality through ritual, creativity, song and support one another on our spiritual journey's. We only ask you bring your nurturing creativity and spirituality as well as a covered dish and canned food item to any of our events as not only do we share with one another but also support our local community in hopes that the blessings of the Goddess come through us to our community.
Edible Admission Fee The Queen of Heaven Circle is coordinating the food basket collection at church, so they will require a canned food donation from each person who attends their programs. Participants are also asked to bring food to share at each Circle service.
We take our spirituality seriously and would hope that you would come to this place with the same spirit.
