Guardians of the Ancient Nile Coven, is an Egyptian Wiccan tradition following the Osirian Ennead. Our coven is designed to function as a multi-facetted coven. Our scope is as follows:
Facilitates teaching our tradition of Egyptian Wicca
Service to the community
Healing Arts
Public education regarding our tradition and promoting religious tolerance
Ecumenical participation in mainstream cleric co-created services.
Promote Harmony, Peace, Healing and Joy in our Coven family, our local community and our world.
We celebrate the 8 standard Wiccan Sabbats, 13 Esbats also known as Full Moon. In addition we celebrate the festivals of the Osirian Ennead.
Our coven is structured with an Outer and Inner Court.
The Outer Court is for new members (Dedicates) . The Outer Court is designed to allow the new dedicate and the coven time to evaluate each other. The Outer Court runs for a year and a day. While a member of the Outer Court, the dedicate will attend regular classes and standard ritual ceremonies while learning our tradition. Upon successful completion of our 101 course the dedicate may apply for the inner court and enter though Initiation as 1st Degree Priest/Priestess if accepted. Completion of the year and a day course does not guarantee admission into the Coven.
The Inner Court consists of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degree Priest/Priestess. All 3 Degreed Priest/Priestess will work directly with the High Priestess on different levels with specific responsibilities within our coven and the community.
