Group Overview: Becoming is a sacred gathering of men and women who freely come together to worship their deities, learn about themselves, and experience community and connection. We seek to deepen our connections to ourselves, each other, the world around us, and the Divine throughout our lives.
We see the Divine, in all its diversity, alive in the people we meet and the world we live in. In fact, some of us see no hierarchical division between the physical and the spiritual, the creation and the creator (s) , the body and the soul. While many in Becoming come from different paths and traditions, we are connected by the general worldview of spiritual panentheism or animism.
We hold monthly open circles in the Washington DC area. We have open holidays near the solstices and equinoxes, and other friends-and-members events. We offer Seekers classes and other workshops throughout the year.
