Group Overview: Rising Sun Congregation is a constituent congregation of Ecumenicon Fellowship meeting in the home of Charles Butler and Fancy Cline. We practice an open spirituality, fusing elements of Umbanda, Voudoun, Wicca, and the faith of any participant coming to study. We pray with those who pray, we weep with those who weep, we encourage, we embolden, we laugh, we cry, we celebrate. We focus prayers and energy for family and friends.
Come and see what we are doing. If you like it, come back. We have a dedicated circle for those who choose to be a part of it. If you want to study, ask, and we will create appropriate lessons for you.
Charles is Umbanda, a fusion religion that merges German spiritualism, West African orisha traditions, and native american shamanic studies and welcomes all faith paths to listen to each other. Charles also was trained in Christian studies, and is a High Priest in the Temple of Isis Rising (Wicca) as well as an Interfaith minister with Ecumenicon Fellowship.
Fancy is a Voudoun priestess trained in New Orleans and Haiti.
