Group Overview: Merry Meet to Pagans in the Eastern Maine area!

Our Mission: We are a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing public understanding and awareness of alternate faiths and enhancing connections between Pagans and Pagan organizations in Eastern Maine.

About Us:
EMPPA is a non-profit organization whose mission has multiple facets. We strive to educate our local community - both Pagan and non-Pagan - about the various flavors of paganism. We aim to make a safe haven for the Pagan community to socialize, both in and out of the broom closet. We advocate for Pagan equal rights and non-discriminatory practices. We connect local Pagans to local resources such as Pagan-friendly businesses, classes, workshops, retreates, open circles and rituals, and other Pagans. We intentionally create friendly, open, fun social opportunities for Pagans and Pagan-friendly people.

We host fundraisers and community events in the Greater Bangor area several times throughout the year, as well as a yearly Pagan Pride Day Celebration in October.

***Want to be a member of EMPPA? Ta-daaaa! You are! We have no membership forms, requirements, or dues. Come on over and join in - we welcome everyone at our meetings and events!

***Email us any time with questions about resources, your path, or just to make a connection. We LOVE meeting new people of any faith.

You can also find us on Facebook.
