Group Overview: Under guardianship of ordained clergy, the Temple is a sanctuary where women and men can explore and deepen their spiritual lives.
We value the power of feminine energy, while honoring and respecting the inherent worth and sacredness of all. We honor Mother Nature. We encourage balance and harmony in the relationship between human and nature, women and men, and human and divine.
We are a legally recognized church with ordained clergy and offer public ritual for the eight Pagan seasonal celebrations, as well as a library, meditation space, social events, workshops and classes, and religious counseling. We also host the Iseum Musicum, offering a three-year program culminating in legally recognized ordination. Our trained clergy are available to do handfastings and legal weddings, welcome newborns, perform funerals, and all other rites of passage.
Our public rituals on the eight Pagan seasonal celebrations are held at the U.U. Church in Bangor. Our rituals follow the Wheel of the Year, and are generally held on the day of the festival at 7 p.m. All genders, faiths, and ages are welcome.
