Group Overview: Avalon: Order of the Risen Isle is a project two years old, and formally Consecrated on the night of the Blue Moon, July 31st, 2004. This is more than simply a coven. The Order is made up of pagans from multiple paths, who have devoted themselves and sworn oath to live according to the Code of Chivalry and Honor, giving rebirth to the ideals of Camelot and bringing back the Sacred Isle. Avalon is headed by Serene, the Lady of Avalon. It is made up of Avalon's Daughters, Her Wizzard, Her First Knight, and Her Populace. Although a majority of the populace live in Michigan, Avalon will not be restricted by geography. Avalon is open to anyone anywhere who wish to prove that they are striving to be better than they are, and want to serve the Goddess and the Cause above all else. Avalon also has ordained clergy and will be incorporated in Michigan by Fall.
