Group Overview: Silver Skein is a small, traditionally structured, eclectic Wiccan coven. We are open to new-comers, whether you've been in the Craft for years and are just now starting to look for a group to practice with or you're brand new to Wicca and want to learn more. We celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year (the eight sabbats) at our Covenstead in Madison Heights. Seven of the eight Sabbats are open to guests. We also offer one-on-one training to those interested in walking the Path with us.
We welcome anyone over the age of 16, however minors must bring a custodial parent/legal guardian with them to at least their first meeting with us. Absolutely no exceptions.
We will not discriminate against anyone regardless of ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age (other than the above) , nor will we tolerate such discrimination within our Temple.
Although we are listed in the "Adult" section, Silver Skein is a family-friendly group; we are committed to maintaining a safe family enviroment.
Prior to being invited to join us in our Covenstead, we ask that a person meet us for coffee some place public, such as a coffee shop or cafe. We strongly suggest you to be be cautious of anyone who does not follow this basic precaution... you should never go to the home of someone you haven't met at least once.
