Group Overview: Cedarsong Grove, ADF was founded in 2008 as an ADF Protogrove and became a fully chartered Grove in 2009.
We are growing steadily in knowledge and community. This is an exciting time, as we continue to deepen our relations with the Gods, spirits, and the beloved dead, finding our own way, creating a space for our members and the wider community to grow spiritually.
Our grove has been working with many pantheons, and has discovered a calling to honor the Baltic gods as well as the Norse. Along with our public high day rites we’ve performed unity rites at Pagan Pride Day celebrations and we were honored to assist Dawn and Al of Triple Goddess with a rite for luck and good fortune during the rally for their pagan and occult bookstore Triple Goddess. We’ve had three members complete the ADF Dedicant Study Program, and have several more currently working on the program. We are also blessed to have one member working her way through the Clergy Program. On May 27th, 2012, Cedarsong Grove was honored to receive the ADF Founder's Award, given in recognition of our community service outreach and efforts for the preceeding year.
We have monthly Book Study meetings where anyone from the community can come and meet members of the grove and learn a little more about what we do. We also have monthly Dedicant Study meetings for Cedarsong Grove members and ADF members to provide a space for us all to delve a little more deeply into our spirituality. And of course we host eight public rituals for each of the high days in the Wheel of the Year along with occasional member only rituals, retreats, and workshops.
Cedarsong Grove is committed to fostering connections in the wider Lansing Pagan Community, providing open high day rituals so that anyone can have access to quality pagan rites, and fostering spiritual growth and connection with the gods, the land and the folk!
