Group Overview: The Lakes Area Pagan group currently puts out two magazines a year of original material. It is available in Cat Tales bookstore in Brainerd. We have recently combined the first four issues into a "Book of Shadows".
The new magazine is scheduled for Yule and will have a new format including color printing, larger pages and available advertising. It will also be available in more places in the Brainerd Lakes area.
We also hold a monthly prosperity/healing circle around the full moon.
Unlike many groups or covens we have an all most even balance of males and females. This is not planned, it just happens that way.
Those interested in this group are encouraged to contact me via email and consider contributing art, photos, stories or other material for the Lakes Area Pagan magazine.
My personal veiwpoint is that if people are not willing to contribute to the magazine they won't contribute much to the group anyway. Everyone has something worth sharing.
We encourage people to simply speak from the heart and from personal experience. Share what you know, not what you have read.
