Group Overview: A new year will soon begin, and the Silver Oak Grove is now accepting inquiries for our 2015 Training Grove which will begin Saturday, January 17, 2015. The Silver Oak Grove is a British Traditional training grove which offers a year-long series of classes to teach the basics of Wicca; Ethics, Meditation, Visualization, Ritual practice, Connecting with Deity, Energy Work, Divination, Spellwork, plus other topics. Silver Oak Grove does not charge any fees for the training we provide.

Our training structure is set up with one class and one ritual per month, generally meeting every-other Saturday. We celebrate all 8 Sabbats and 4 of the Full Moons. The group also does 2 campouts during the year, usually one at Beltane and one at Summer Solstice. There is a charge for the camping weekends, however most feel it is very reasonable.

The Silver Oak Grove requires that all applicants be at least 21 years of age. This is because of the use of alcohol in ritual. We do respect those who choose not to drink and offer a replacement beverage; however, you must be of the legal age to purchase alcohol. Members of the grove are expected to provide bread, wine, and a rose for use during ritual on a rotating basis.

The class sizes are kept small, never more than 6 people. We are all about individualized training and not in training the masses. As Priestess of the Grove and Coven, I encourage members to contact me at any time with questions or to work on material. Our training also includes some homework, rather than simply being a series of lectures.

Upon completion of the grove classes you may petition to join the coven through initiation. However, completion of the grove classes does not guarantee initiation into the coven.

Be aware that we do love our animals and we have 3 dogs and 1 cat; who may or may not attend discussions, however they are never allowed in ritual.

I do request a personal one-on-one meeting with all potential candidates at a public place of your choosing upon completion of our Petition for Training.

Please feel free to e-mail at, or call 612-386-6959, with any questions.
