Group Overview: We are traditionally practicing Gardnerians who had the privilege of running a coven of wonderful folks in the Twin Cities for approximately 7 years. We have re-located and are looking forward to working again with like-minded people.
Gardnerianism is an oathbound Mystery Tradition. At its most basic level, it is a Craft based on the cycles of nature and the polarity of male and female and uses the symbolism of fertility -- life, death, rebirth.
Our rites, themselves, are magical, and they tend to be our primary focus, though we do spellwork, as well, when needed. We do rites for the Full Moon and each of the 8 Sabbats, as well as other rites for specific workings. The coven works skyclad. We practice very traditionally, and we train vigorously, from the pre-initiate level through 3*.
Our pre-initiate training consists of at least 1 year of consistent work with the group. We have non-oathbound robed rites that we do during that time, and there are also classes, discussions, papers, and other projects.
