Group Overview: shi-yaku-jin-no-hokora is a small family owned minzoku (folk) NEO-shintô shrine that enshrines the shi-yaku-jin (four misfortune kami) : binbô-no-kami (kami of poverty) , ekibyô-no-kami (kami of disease) , kyô-no-kami (kami of disaster) , and shi-no-kami (kami of death) . It was founded to calm the kami and alleviate their affects on eastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. If you would like to calm one of the shi-yaku-jin in your life, we offer ofuda and omamori related to them for your kamidana (home altar) .
