Group Overview: Circle of the Sacred Journey is located in Springfield, Missouri. We are are a very active teaching coven and a serious group who follow a Celtic Green initiatory path, honoring the Source (God and Goddess) and growing spiritually along with nature through ritual observances of the Wheel of the Year and the lunar cycles. Our Celtic/Green tradition can fall under the category of Eclectic Wicca, as other beliefs and systems have been drawn on as well as traditional Witchcraft. It is worth noting that we share no lineage with other traditions.
Study and practice with the group is only a possibility for those serious and hardworking. We recommend training only for those age 21 and older based on maturity and life experience, but will consider applicants age 18 and older on a case-by-case basis. Those with small children or studying full-time in college should carefully consider their ability to take on the additional responsibility of studying with a coven. Acceptance is based on personal commitment, suitability for Craft study and practice within our tradition, and compatibility with any existing members. Gender, race, age, sexuality or national origin are never an issue. There is no charge for any training you may receive as a member of Circle of the Sacred Journey.
