Group Overview: Happy Winter holidays everyone! Merry Yule! We'll see you second semester and may the Muses and Athena bless you during your exams!
Heart and Crescent is the pagan-friendly group on Saint Louis University campus. Pagans and friends of Pagans and anyone who simply wants to learn about and/or accepts this and other alternative religions is welcome. We are working on becoming a SLU chartered group so for now, our official members on campus must be SLU students and faculty, although others are welcome to attend unofficial gatherings off-campus. We welcome all paths including atheism, no hating on Christians and such. We enjoy discussions on anything relating to religion or pagan culture. All rituals, including Sabbats, are optional but very fun!
Most of our events will take place during the regular Fall and Spring semesters. We are also attempting to create a branch at the Madrid campus. The goal is to meet weekly and for Sabbats. Our weekly meeting time will be determined at the beginning of each semester based on members' schedules (while the group is fairly small) . As of the end of Spring semester, our group has had up to 10 members, but our growth rate has been quite rapid and we hope to more than double in the coming Fall semester.
