Group Overview: Nestled betwixt prairie grasslands and dense woodlands in the American Heartland, Éaspringstede Hæðengyld calls the Greater Kansas City area home. It is named after the city’s large collection of fountains---the second largest in the world. Indeed, Kansas City is often hailed as the City of Fountains.
As a contemporary religious fellowship, Éaspringstede is dedicated to the modern day reconstruction of the ancient tribal religion of the Anglo-Saxons who lived during the 5th to 7th centuries on the landmass we call England today. The gyld’s mission is to reconstruct not only the worship of the Anglo-Saxon Gods and Goddesses but the worldview, customs, and traditions of our ancestors as well.
