Group Overview: We are an interesting mix of people following the Correllian Witchcraft Tradition who also incorporate other systems into our practice. Some of us are interested in Druidry, some are more Metaphysical, several of us study Ceremonial Magick and some of us are just your average Witches. We live in the Flathead Valley and come together for the New and Full Moons to Circle, and we offer Open Sabbats for the public to celebrate the changing seasons of the year. Shoughn, the High Priest, and I, Gwen, the High Priestess, have been practicing together since about 2002 and we both are Third Degree in the Fellowship of the Elder Path. We have branched off from that Path and our classes now follow a mixture of the Elder Path and the Correllian Tradition. We offer Beginner, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degree classes and are a functioning Coven. Our Sabbats are open to the Public and anyone interested in our group should attend a Sabbat to meet us and see what we are all about.
Classes typically start in the Fall and last for the usual year and a day. Beginner classes are designed to give you a basic understanding of Sacred Space, Circle casting, Quarter calling, meditation and energy working, as well as other beginning magickal practices. We usually have people register to take classes at Pagan Pride Day in September and we start around the 1st of October.
We are licensed Ministers and can provide services such as Handfastings, Wiccanings, Chaplan Services, House Cleansing and Blessings and Coming of Age Ceremonies as well as personal services such as Tarot and Rune readings, Reiki, Intuitive Spiritual Counseling and Divination.
We also do workshops such as Weekly Guided Meditations, Crystal Healing, Working with Chakras and intro classes on the Mythology of the Norse, Celtic, Egyptian, Greek and Roman Pantheons.
The Garden of the Crescent Moon Coven is the sponsor of Pagan Pride Day in Kalispell, Montana and we also have a goal of attending a Festival Event somwhere else in the USA once a year, as a group. We have been to Midsummer in the Northwoods, Summerfest in Red Lodge and the ATC's Spring Mysteries Festival along with many other fun campouts and get togethers in our own area.
We are always looking for like minded people who are interested in joining a Coven that likes to travel and interact with other Covens and groups.
