Group Overview: We are a group of Witches, Druids, Wiccans and Fairy Traditionalists who live in the Flathead Valley and come together for the New and Full Moons to Circle, and the Sabbats to celebrate the changing seasons of the year. Shoughn and I have been practicing together since about 2002 and we both are third degree in the Fellowship of the Elder Path. We have branched off from that Path and our classes now follow a mixture of the Elder Path and the Correllian Tradition. We offer Beginner, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degree classes and are a functioning Coven. Our Sabbats are open to the Public and anyone interested in our group should attend a Sabbat to meet us and see what we are all about.
Classes typically start in the Fall and last for the usual year and a day. Beginner classes are designed to give you a basic understanding of Sacred Space, Circle casting, Quarter calling, meditation and energy working, as well as other beginning magickal practices. We accept candidates through a formal sponsorship program, where a member of the Coven will guide you and be your sponsor for the first 2 years.
The Garden of the Crescent Moon Coven is the sponsor of Pagan Pride Day in Kalispell, Montana and we also have a goal of attending a Festival Event somwhere else in the USA once a year, as a group. We have been to Midsummer in the Northwoods, Summerfest in Red Lodge and the ATC's Spring Mysteries Festival along with many other fun campouts and get togethers in our own area.
We are always looking for like minded people who are interested in joining a Coven that likes to travel and interact with other Covens and groups.
