Group Overview: What is Celebrate the Circle? We are an eclectic group of women and men, mostly Unitarian Universalists, who celebrate the seasons, the circle of life, and study our places in the Interdependent Web of all existence. The group meets weekly on Sunday afternoons at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Hillsborough, for open Learning Circles. Learning Circles are where we share and gain knowledge, creating a safe place to be inquisitive, laugh, and learn about many topics. Our Learning Circles are an unique approach to wisdom, introducing such topics as symbolism, mystic beliefs, various forms of Paganism, chants, healing practices, drumming, and other subjects decided by the group. We also celebrate the 8 sabbats with outdoor rituals open to all, in a beautiful natural setting.
We send out a periodic e-mail on scheduled events to our own and some of the local Pagan e-mail lists. We have a quarterly newsletter. If you would like to be included in our postal or e-mail lists, contact Lance Brown at lance@bearcircle.net.
Celebrate the Circle has been a chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans for the last 16 years.
