We hope that you will gain a little bit of insight about the SCWF through this informational, if you have any questions concerning the SCWF or its classes or events please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail.
To begin, the Sacred Circle of Wiccan Fellowship is a Circle of Wiccans whom gathers together in fellowship and worship of the Goddess and God in the old ways. All direct members of the SCWF fallow the Celtic Tradition within Wicca. All of our gatherings are Celtic in application and in method, but we do keep an open mind and heart to those methods and concepts of the other Traditions in Wicca.
The primary objectives of the SCWF is to teach basic Wicca to those seeking to better understand it, and to fellowship with like minded people in safe and peaceful ways for spiritual purposes.
We have several methods of participation within the SCWF for our Gatherings, Observances, Workshops and Classes. One is being associated to the SCWF and our membership. In order for a non-member of our priesthood to attend Esbat or Sabbat Observances, workshops or classes a person would need to become associated to the SCWF through an application (screening) process. This is to ensure the safety of all persons involved; both the prospective associate as well as the SCWF membership.
The second method being our Dedicant Program, every person seeking to learn Wicca from the SCWF or seeking membership as a Priest/ess within the SCWF must be dedicated and trained. This is done through an application (screening) process. Again, this is to ensure the safety of all persons involved; both the prospective dedicant as well as the SCWF membership. Dedicants are immediately approved to participate in all SCWF Gatherings, Observances, Workshops and Classes, and many would be approved to participate in Gatherings within the SCWF.
The SCWF has been set up this way because those who are invited to participate in the activities or events provided by the SCWF should always enter with fully understand of what is happening at all times as well as in Perfect Love and Perfect Trust. Otherwise what we are attempting to do in ritual or ceremony will not reach its fullest potential.
Those individuals under the age of eighteen are not eligible to take our Year and One Day Lesson Course, but are eligible to attend our open study roups and/or workshops (with written parents or guardians consent) to help out in their spiritual growth and knowledge of Wicca.
