Carolina Grove
Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: Charlotte, North Carolina, North Carolina
Key Contact: Miles Batty
Spiritual Path: Eclectic Wiccan
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Open Circles... Teaching Available

Group Overview: Carolina Grove is a group of local friendly Pagans, Witches, Wiccans, Heathens, Druids, Shamans, New Agers, Mystics, Tree-Huggers, and others. Carolina Grove is not a church, coven, or members-only club. We gather from many different paths and traditions, to share in the diversity of faith.
Carolina Grove hosts seasonal Sabbat celebrations, open to the public. These rites are open to anyone who'd like to participate or just watch. We also present "Weekend at the Grove", a monthly series of public lectures and study groups. Our classes and workshops are usually held at the Unity Center for Spiritual Living, 7300 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, unless the instructor selects a different location. These informal, free (unless a materials fee is required) classes cover a wide range of pagan-interest topics. All we ask is a nominal donation to support the Unity Center. Anyone with a willingness to learn or participate is invited to attend. You can contact the Unity Center at (704) 599-1180.
You can find us online at www.carolinagrove.org or http://groups.yahoo.com/group/carolinagrove.
