The Mission of the Wolf Head Clan is to bring together a community of likeminded believers in the Norse traditions. The general idea of this is not to just form a Kindred, which is a word the founders do not like, but a community. The goal is to have an atmosphere of friendship, camaraderie, and learning. We want to be able to teach and learn from each and every member of the Clan.
The goal is to have not only religious gathers as in festivals and rituals, but also sessions for discussion, learning, and even friendly debate. We would also like to put together gathering of a more social nature for example, camping, crafts, and just friendly get-togethers. Every single person who is a member shall be free to decide his or her level of participation.
From this statement you can see why we choose to use the word Clan as opposed to kindred. Kindred is actually a new name for Norse groups. We choose the old for the reason that in our opinion a kindred is not enough. The Northern Way is not just a religion but a lifestyle and finding a group of people who feel the same is a difficult thing.
