Group Overview: The Guilford College Pagan Mysticism Group was started by a group of students looking for organized support for their religious beliefs. After fighting college administration and student government, the college senate came to consensus to create this organization.
This group has changed from a support group for individuals who felt excluded because of their religious practices, to a group educating each other and their community on their various practices. Guilford College has changed over the past decade from a college ignorant of the pagans within its community, to a population aware and accepting of the pagans on campus.
We hold regular events on campus, and have weekly workshops on everything from Reki, to warding, to divination. We are welcoming of all students, faculty, staff, and alumni. We also try to maintain contact with the other pagan groups in the Greensboro\Triad area.
We meet on campus every week while school in in session.
