Group Overview: Gaia’s Circle is an eclectic group that welcomes people of all religious backgrounds. Our first gathering was Mabon 2009, though we officially established ourselves as a Circle at our Yule 2009 celebration. While the majority of us identify as Pagan, Circles are open to everyone. We all follow our own individual path of Paganism, but love to come together to have a good time honoring Deity and making a little magic. Men, women and children are all welcome.

We meet on or around the Sabbats and participate in a small ritual and a potluck style feast. Members live all over the Triangle Area, and we take turns hosting throughout the area. As well as taking turns hosting, we also take turns writing and contributing to Circle events, rituals and festivities. This lets participants contribute as they are able and also lets each of us express our personal worship styles. A favorite part of Gaia’s Circle is the potluck, where everyone brings their favorite seasonal or celebratory meals, drinks and desserts to share with the group.

(Since rituals are held in private homes, we do like to meet people before they participate in rituals. If you're interested in getting to know us, please email Gaia's Circle at gaiacircle@gmail.com. We'd love to meet you!)

Serving as a light, enjoyable way to celebrate the Wheel of the Year, Gaia’s Circle doesn’t aim to replace or interfere with more personal, serious Covens or Circles with initiatory paths and deep magic. Rather, we aim to offer something casual with no obligations, other than to respect the Circle and to honor Deity while having a good time. We try to hold Circles as close to the Sabbats as we can, without conflicting with other local Pagan events and rituals.

If you are interested in a fun, informal place to celebrate with Pagans while breaking bread and having a drink, please feel free to contact Gaia’s Circle!
