The Coven of the Eclectic Wheel
Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: Fayetteville Area, North Carolina
Key Contact: Relic
Spiritual Path: Eclectic
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Teaching Available

Group Overview: Blessed Be!
We are an eclectic pagan coven that meets in the Fayetteville area. We typically meet at least once a week for either rituals, classes, or workshops,
We aren't just eclectic in spiritual paths, but in our unique makeup as a group. We have members who are parents and those who are not. Our ages ranges from the early 20's to the 40's...so far. We have introverts and extroverts; soldiers and civilians; kitchen witches and alchemists; those who love astrology, tarot, meditation, herbs and candles, and just about every other magickal discipline can be found in at least one of our members.
We are open to individuals, couples, and families. Most of our rituals are kid-friendly and children are allowed in and out of circle as they or their parents wish. Occasionally we may have a ritual that is more mature or requires more concentration and in those cases we may request a "kid free" night.
We do not have a designated and permanent High priest or High Priestess. We rotate through leadership roles on a volunteer basis. We expect everyone to take roles within the coven that falls within their comfort level, and occasionally just outside of it so that we can grow as pagans. The founding members and elders of the coven act as guides to keep the coven on a forward path, not as the end-all final word on a subject.
We celebrate Full Moons, New Moons, and Sabbats within the tradition of the High Priest/ess running that particular ritual and we are open to many paths and excited when someone can let us experience an area of paganism that we don't have much knowledge in. We welcome Wiccans, Druids, Asatru, Eclectic Pagans, Witches, or just about any other positive path of magick and spiritual growth.
All minor decisions and most major decisions are made through democratic means so that everyone in the coven has a voice in our decisions and can help dictate the direction the coven takes.
Our requirements for consideration to membership are simple: Be some kind of pagan, be positive, and be a good person.
After email correspondences, potential members will meet with one or two coven members outside of the covenstead (Barnes and Nobles/Starbucks has been the favored choice so far) . If all goes well in the initial meetings a date will be set for the applicant to come and meet the whole group during an Esbat or class meeting. This, and subsequent meetings if needed, will serve to let everyone get to know you and for you to get to know us and how we work. Assuming all goes well, a date will be determined to either bring you in as an initiated member or as a coven dedicant if more time and learning is needed (we welcome brand new pagans as well as experienced) .
Does this seem like a lot of information for a Witchvox group profile? It may be, but we want to make sure we are attracting individuals, couples, and families who are interested in what we do.
If you have always been solitary or only practiced as a couple, give us a try. If you have been in covens that failed or went awry, don't let it spoil your taste for it forever. If you were once in a coven and loved it and missed it, maybe we can be your next group. Nothing compares to the sense of family that comes from a coven, and magickal and spiritual work have a completely different feel in a group setting.
If you are interested, shoot us a message and let's see where it goes.
Brightest Blessings!
