I'm a priestess and pontifex with Nova Roma, a Roman Reconstructionist group as well as a member of Hellenion. This has been my path since 2003 and I love it.
I'm starting a local group, a grove, for everyone, old, young, families etc There is a rich, authentic and wholistic tradition of Greek and Roman rituals and rites of passage to share.
The grove is named after Carmenta, the Roman goddess of childbirth and prophecy whose priestess I am and the Muses whose altar I established in a modern Roman temple in the Ukraine. I've a degree in Classics and do my research!
I'm very interested in Greek and Roman forms of divination, philosophy, magic, Roman history. I have Recon friends all over Europe and Greece.
New members are welcome and I see this as my opportunity to teach how to perform libations to the gods, set up home altars, where to find them, what to do for a fun Saturnalia.
