Group Overview: DolphinMoon Coven was recently reformed in July of 2007. We are open to new Outer Court members at anytime. Those interested may apply to the contact person. We are accepting new students for the tradition or "Seekers:, but we do understand the need for group ritual and support in any community.
The Covenant of Kernnunos is a young tradition, only about fifteen years old, but we have begun to grow. The Mother Coven was originally located in Lincoln, NE, and has moved to Grand Junction, CO and most recently relocated to Denver. DolphinMoon is the only current Daugther Coven, but we do have satelite members throughout the United States.
We are primarily a teaching tradition. As such we understand that people need to learn at their own pace and in their own time. W\e are taking students for the basics of the Craft.
Through DolphinMoon's affiliation with the Pagan Alliance
network, headquartered in Lincoln, NE, we offer discussion groups, classes and meditation circles. We have also begun to offer Full and New Moon celebrations. Each session is started with a meet and greet type atmosphere for any new to the group or just visiting. Each session is followed with a light snack or actual meal to help ground excess energies.
Beginning in January 2009, we will be teaching Seeker level classes for those who wish to learn more about our Tradition or for those who wish to further (or begin) their journey on their chosen path. These classes are a beginning process in helping individuals to choose their path as well as a means of getting to know prospective students of the Tradition. There is no charge for this class, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own study supplies (ie., notebook, pen or pencil) as well as a nonalcoholic beverage or snack for themselves or to share with the rest of the class. As this is an active learning experience, participation by attendees is strongly encouraged.
