Group Overview: Prairie Star Circle is now offering public rituals in the Kearney NE area.
All are welcome to attend, this is not a membership group or a coven.
Rituals are held on the Sunday closest to the full moon, at 4pm. Rituals begin on time, so you are welcome to arrive early. A schedule with more details (including locations) is available on our website.
About half of our rituals are in the "American Eclectic Wiccan" style that has become the default at pan-Pagan gatherings. About half are showcasing ritual styles from other traditions including Druid, Heathen, Hellenic, Huna, and others. Central Nebraska hasn't had much opportunity to see some of the more diverse faces of contemporary Paganism, and we'd like to help folks know about some of the different traditions that are growing worldwide.
We're doing these rituals as a test run from Oct-Dec to see if there's enough interest in the area to support this sort of event regularly. If people show up and like it, we'll keep going into 2013.
