Serenity Grove & Coven

Age Range/Type: Family
Located in: Rochester, New Hampshire
Key Contact: Arianthe

Spiritual Path: Blue Star Traditional Wicca
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Open Circles... Legal Clergy... Teaching Available

Group Overview: Serenity a Blue Star Traditional Grove, and Coven, based out of Rochester NH.

Serenity meets at least one Moon a month and all the Sabbats. By following our Facebook page, and checking into our website, you can keep track of when and where we will meet next. and

Skype Sessions: At Rituals there is rarely a lot of time for classwork and one-on-one spiritual counseling, and so we hold online Skype sessions for discussions, classes, and workshops in order to facilitate more opportunities for our students. These sessions are a great way to "jump in" and meet our community, and learn a bit about what we do, and are all about if you've never been to one of our events.

Serenity is a family oriented group - our rituals are often child friendly, and involve components for kids to be actively involved as much or as little of the rituals as they wish.
We have no restrictions based on age, race, gender, or lifestyle. We're a very geek-tastic group, unapologetically so, with LARPing, Sci-Fi, Star Trek/Wars, RPG Gamers; We are Foodies and Herbalists, Crafters and GeoCashers. We believe strongly that who we are, and what we do - are tethered to our spirituality in as they are integral to our being.

These are the Clergy in Your Neighborhood...

MorningStar is an Elder in the community, and an Active High Priestess of Blue Star with more than 25 years of background, and a Devotee of Venus. She has served as a Pagan Prison Minister and Advocate for Prison Ministry in the State of Massachusetts, built and been a part of the growth and success of 3 different Blue Star Groves, and blazed many new paths for her students to follow.

Arianthe is a Priestess of the Trad, a devotee of Hera and Serenity's "Choir Director", and networking guru. Arianthe is very conscientious about local charities and often seeks to incorporate food/clothing drives into larger Sabbat celebrations. She has served as the head and developer of FSG's Teen Track and Childrens Programming, but has since refocused her sites on more local events.

Stormcrow is a Priest of Bluestar, he is presently working on becoming a Victims Advocate to be a strong ethical and support within the community and without. Stormcrow is a strong ritual priest, with a deep background in Occult Writings.

Blue Star:

Blue Star is a Teaching Tradition and has a hierarchical learning structure, but with none of the "holier than thou" - the structure exists to facilitate learning and growth, not authoritarianism. Each Coven is autonomous, though all are connected through a "family bond" -, we call our bi-annual get-togethers: Family Gathers.

501c3 Status:
While Serenity is not a 501c3 group - Blue Star Wicca has created the Blue Star Foundation which IS angling for 501c3 status for the entire Tradition and to provide legal recourse to that end.
