Order of the World Tree is a new Wiccan coven within the Tradition, the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel. The Order seeks the pinnacle of magickal excellence and the nadir of integration of personal knowledge of all parts of self. Travel between the planes, magick, self development, and the manifestation of Will are some of Order of the World Tree's goals.
The coven trains seekers on the path of magick, personal, mental, and energetic mastery, and ritual competency, as well as magickal viability. The coven is a committed part of the Pagan community as a whole, offering regular public teaching and rituals as part of the effort to re-enchantment of the world.
Coven will be open to new members starting Spring 2014. Feel free to apply now to attend open events and meet the group.
About Leadership: Craig Setti (Gwaeron) will be assisting leadership of the coven as acting High Priest. Gwaeron is a First degree is the Assembly. His broad background during the past 30 years ranges from African and Native American shamanism, British Traditional Witchcraft, operative ceremonial magick, and martial arts. He is a waterpourer for the Assembly Sweat Tradition. We works primarily with the Norse Patheon, specifically Odin and Freya. His work includes the hats of a warrior, mage, healer, witch, and sorcerer.
About the Tradition: The Assembly of the Sacred Wheel is a legally recognized Wiccan non-profit religious organization based in the Mid-Atlantic region. The form of Wicca that the Assembly practices is syncretic and draws inspiration from Astrology, Qabala, the Western Magickal Tradition and the folk religions of Europe. The Assembly seeks the balance of the science of magick with estatic art of Wicca. Keepers of the Holly Chalice, the founding coven of the Assembly began its life in February of 1984. The Assembly was incorporated in the state of Delaware in 1993 and was granted 501 (c) (3) status by the IRS in 1995. Order of the World Tree is the Assembly's tenth coven and the first ASW coven in New Jersey.
