Mystical Realms of Southern New Jersey is a working coven of witches on a positive spiritual path in the eastern Gloucester/Camden/Cumberland county area. We draw from a combined experience base of 30+ years.
We share and expand our knowledge of magick, do seasonal crafts and activities, meet for sabbats, esbats and healing or other reasons as needed, and have coven trips. Members range in age from 29 to 40+ and come from a variety of beliefs and backgrounds.
The group is open to everyone regardless of gender, race, beliefs, disabilities, or sexual preference. We do not focus on any specific pantheon or magickal path as everyone has a unique perspective on divinity.
I co organize the coven along with two other founding members who are together the coven council. Our philosophy is that as our energies connect when we work together in circle we want to ensure that everyone is comfortable and personalities are a good match.
As a working magickal coven we treat each other with respect and courtesy. We are respectful of ourselves, each other, all life on earth and the earth itself. We operate on a group consensus and individual input is expected. . We are a spiritual family and as such build and value the relationships we have with each other. Most of all have fun and truly enjoy each others company.
We hold ongoing studies of topics that are chosen monthly by members and explore various aspects of magick and the occult. Each member is free to study independently and develop at his or her own pace as they feel called.
We offer a magickal development plan where coven members are able to earn titles after completing levels of training developed by the leaders of the coven and with the members input.
We hold workshops from beginner to advanced levels for those who wish to expand their knowledge of the craft. . We also hand craft the magickal supplies our coven uses and also sell products the coven makes to raise money for supplies, activities, and outings.
We meet all potential members at a public place for the first meeting. At that time guests meet the coven council, and if we feel we share similar goals and compatible magickal energy we will invite them as guest to join us. After meeting as a guest, if there is consensual agreement and good matching magickal energy you may join as a initiate. After being dedicated to the group for a year and a day of study and successfully demonstrate proficiency in magick, following a vote of the coven members, the initiate may become a dedicant of the coven.
To become involved in our coven you must possess a desire to learn the craft, (training is available through our workshops) , have a genuine interest in increasing your magickal knowledge, show respect and courtesy, be open to new magickal experiences, support the coven, attend meetings regularly, and agree to respect the privacy of the coven and its members.
