Status: Established Group

Group Overview: We are a group of people committed to a traditional form of Gardnerian practice.

A solid grounding in the basics, study, hard work, and self-exploration can lead us to wonderful and unexpected places. Traditional Wicca is a life path and a Mystery religion. Because this work is demanding and powerful, entry into it is necessarily slow.

Adults and teens with parental permission are welcome.

You'll be asked to fill out an application before we start the process of getting to know each other. We'll then meet and talk and decide if we'll work well together.

**We are now accepting new students. Currently, we are working on an apprenticeship model, meaning one-on-one meetings, chats, and sometimes rituals. At a later date, we may switch to a more formal ritual/class schedule.**

This group is for seekers who wish to learn Wicca in a variety of settings: conversation, class, ritual, exercises, etc. Becoming a part of this group is not just study--we all have to like each other! In that context, it's possible to meet and discuss the potential for initiation, your path, how to strengthen your work, and more.

A "coven" in this tradition is an initiates-only group. Students will be able to participate in (occasional) rituals that are open to non-initiates. While this group is backed by a coven, and initiation is possible, no one should *expect* initiation.

Our orientation is one of reverence, joy, and mutual devotion. By that I mean that we take our rituals very seriously, we have a lot of fun and laughter in them, we work hard on behalf of our students, and we expect our students to give as good as they get!

Our group is based around a traditional polarity structure. We are open to people of all orientations and gender identities, and feel that gender polarity can work oowerfully in that context.

The High Priestess of Anahata is Deborah Lipp, author of The Elements of Ritual and The Way of Four.

Anahata is the heart chakra. May our hearts be open. Blessed be.
