The Sandia Women's Group is not a coven. We're a group of women who identify as kinky, Leather, and/or who are curious about polyamory, spirituality, BDSM, etc. The majority of our regular members identify as pagan, wiccan, druid, or otherwise non-judeo-christian. What we have in common is that we enjoy the company of other women, and love to get together to talk and ask questions about all sorts of things: sex; food; spirituality; and on and on.
We meet once a month in an Albuquerque restaurant to have dinner, chat, build community and enjoy the company of like-minded women.
Women know that there's just something special about "girls' night out." We know that it's a special space that forms wherever women get together to form a circle, to have a cup of coffee, to light a candle, or to simply rest in the acceptance and empathy of those like them.
If you were born a woman, live your life 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as a woman, are a bio-woman who is contemplating gender transition, or have completed your transistion from M to F, you are welcome to join us. Our group is open to women of all orientations: straight, gay, bi, asexual, celibate, other.

UPDATE: WE'VE BEEN MEETING FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS NOW AND IT'S BEEN WONDERFUL! NEW FACES EVERY MONTH. WE'VE BEEN VERY PLEASED. THE CONVERSATIONS HAVE BEEN STIMULATING AND HAVE RUN THE GAMUT FROM PETS TO HOME SCHOOLING TO MENOPAUSE AND BEYOND.
IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING COMING OUT TO JOIN US, PLEASE DO. THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY NON-THREATENING, VERY OPEN TO NOVICES AND THE CURIOUS... WITH ENOUGH SALT FOR THOSE OF US WHO'VE BEEN AROUND FOR A WHILE.
