Group Overview: About the group:
WWW is the Wacky Witches of the West, located in the pristine altitudes of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The group has been formed for almost 6+ years and going strong. Priestess is Raniananda and Priest is The Lizard King. We are an eclectic Wiccan group with regular meetings for full moons and Sabbats. A smaller group gathers for every new moon for a divination night. Divination night is a good time to introduce yourself to Raniananda and some of the other members. It is held about the New Moon time each month. Just contact me for a date.
We do not have detailed coven outlines or dogmas. We welcome fresh connections and exploration of all acts and works of divinity. We are a fun loving group that synergistically works regular magick and does private teachings for members. Everyone is encouraged to participate in all rituals. We are outgoing members of all parts of the community and well liked by muggles and pagans alike. Our path allows us to connect with a variety of dieties and and regions of the world. We believe in living a healthy lifestyle incorporating physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ethics. No party animals here. Logam… the middle way. We also have a dedication to consistent participation and growth, both spiritually and emotionally. While our hearts are light, our magic is serious!
We are open to new members after a period of introduction and participation at the open events. Be prepared to give a short summary of your experience both personal and magical, personal interests and goals to be met within the group. You can be an absolute beginner, or an adept. Just someone who will harmonize well with other members philosophically, ethically, and socially. Men and women as well as couples are welcome. There is an understanding of keeping your private life and practice from the overall public. As spokes person for the group, I am the only one expected to interface with the public. If interested in considering participation with this group, please notify Raniananda for details. Men can contact Jim (the Lizard King) on Wed., Thurs, and Friday evenings by calling 466-7741.
Within the group a wide range of personal interests involving hiking, rock climbing, skiing, computers, rose gardening, art, astrology, tarot, old movies, camping, fishing, Civil War and Napolionic wars and social sciences.
Here is a sample of past rituals for last year:
Our full moon ritual for August 16th considered the eclipse time, we will not do active magic. We well be working on individual chakras with a guided ritual with The Lizard King. The God/dess we will work with are Inarchus (god of the subconscious) and Io, his daughter the goddess of the revealed. I will express it in a few different ways. This work is to deal with what we have buried and to bring it into light with our present level of experience and knowledge. Such as we tend to tune out the world as we get over whelmed or older and we need to open up our boundaries and be aware of more and see it with our present and greater level of experience. A re setting of our boundaries to openness with wisdom. Another way to look at the work will be to work with our preconceived boundaries and open up our intuition to create wider boundaries that allow more into our lives. Each individual will work with a weak chakra to help us to be closer to whole.
last July ritual; We did a travel along journey with the Warrior Twins of Navajo origin. We invoked Naashje'ii asadzaa (Spider Woman) Last Fall Equinox; Coveners brought garden or wild herbs, we identified them and what they do. Then we beneficated and burned them in the cauldron for healing. We invoked Medea. Last October and Samhainn rituals; At full moon we started a process of getting close to God and Goddess using a response chant (see attachment) . During the intervening week before Samhain coveners did a mini-form of the ritual each night at thier altars. On Samhain, the process was integrated into the ritual. We invoked Morrigan and Cernunnos. This was closed to members.

Individually chose Cernunnos or chose Morrigan to work with for the rest of the week. Each covener takes 3-5 minutes each night. Find a quiet place & time in your house. Light a candle, draw a circle around you. (You do not need to call quarters.) Chose one of the following lines from above which start with receptive, quiet, empty or patient (whichever you have to work hardest at) then say it and I am here, and a final line. For example: Empty and open as clear summer skies. Morrigan, I am here! Sit by me! Say this 3 times. Sit with blank mind for 2-3 minutes, then clap hands and thank the God or Goddess and blow out the candle. You may choose the same or different lines each night.
