Group Overview: Moondancers is operated by a 2nd generation HPS of the McFarland Dianics, formally known as the Dallas Dianics that originated from Mark Roberts and Morgan McFarland in the mid 1970's. We practice Dianic & Dianic Faerie, welcoming women, men and gays. We come out of and are the last of the original Artemisian Tradition that started with Coven of the 13 Moons in Dallas in the late 1970's, not to be confused the group from Oklahoma. We are past members/officers of COG, Nexus, facilitators for Clan of the Cauldron and organizers for the late Celebration of Womanhood as originated by Cirlce of the Unicorn & Roundtree.
Our Lady of the Nefer is of the Isian trad that came out of PattaleeGlass Koentop, aka Phoenix. We have had a name change, but are of some of the oldest going back to "P" or Lady Phoenix, Bridget (Judy C.) & Ellen Cannon Reed with roots to The Foundation and Star of the Gold Cross. (We're old!)
We have contacts throughout Europe and have worked, studied, visited with Janet & Stewart Farrar, Gavin Bone, Doreen Valiente and many others.
