Group Overview: The Monere Coven (Children of the Moon) Is a coven based in Belen, New Mexico. With such a small population if Wiccan practitioners in Belen, this coven was created to unite teens following the craft with others of the same religion choice, without them feeling like they're doing something wrong especially since Belen is a very Christian populated town. No matter what your level, whether it be beginner or advanced, there is always someone here that you can relate to.
How it began...
The Monere Coven started out with three sophomores; Simone, Madalaine, and Andy, however, with major bumps in the road, the coven proceeded their separate ways til the following school year, when they rejoined, and a few more people were introduced. But again, things ended up falling apart. Now, Simone and Madalaine are trying to get things back in order, with completely new additions to the coven in ages ranging from 13 to 18, all of which have a desire to be apart of this.
