Group Overview: We are a Temple of the Thessalian Strix faith. Our roots are in the the surviving Mythos of Hellas (Greece) . We are Evolutionists: not Reconstructionists. We are polytheists; not pantheists. We are family friendly and respect all viable traditions and sincere eclectics.
We believe in Magic as an inherent gift of the Gods to humanity, and in the validity of Oracular Prophecy and divination. Insofar as all gifts from the Gods are double-edged blades, we temper our faith with reason, ethics, and morals; accepting full responsibility for our words, works and deeds.
The Temple of Hekate's Torch (THT) conducts open full moon rituals and observes Holy Days, Feasts in honor of our Patroness - Hekate, rites of passage, as well as participating in Pagan networking, and attending other Pagan sponsored events throughout the SW and beyond. We also serve as an outreach and interfaith connection for our region.
THT also offers chats for the curious as well as formal classes for seriously minded students (Mathetes) in person or long distance. THT is comprised of congregation, elders, and formal clergy.
