Group Overview: The Circle of the Rising Phoenix, has been in existence since 1994. We have embraced the symbol of the Phoenix, to reflect our dedication to change and transformation.
The Circle of the Rising Phoenix is Wiccan, but also embraces other faith traditions, and which are meaningful to us. (We are of Gardinarian lineage.) We honor Goddess and God in all their many guises. We celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year in honoring the earth, and in celebrating the Sabbats; and we gather at esbats for the Lunar Mysteries. We strive always to live by the Wiccan Rede; and to work together in perfect love and perfect trust, for growth and healing.
At this time, the Circle of the Rising Phoenix is a closed coven, but we do invite friends, and past students to join us for Sabbats. You may contact us concerning our open Sabbats.
Our coven has been a member of the Covenant of the Goddess, (COG) since April of 1996. We are also involved with the annual Autumn Equinox Festival for Pagan Pride Day in Central NY.
Each year we teach the 11 week introductory course, "The Philosophy Magick & Ritual of Wicca" Please contact us for information on the next class.
