Group Overview: The Sisterhood of Avalon (SOA) is an International Celtic Women's Mysteries Organization which seeks to balance Intuitive Wisdom with Scholastic Achievement. The SOA was founded in 1995 and is an incorporated non-profit religious organization actively seeking 501 (c) (3) status.
Among our activities, we sponsor the Avalonian Thealogical Seminary, international training intensives, Spiritual Pilgrimages to Glastonbury and other Celtic Sacred Sites, a vast networking web, local Hearths and Learning Circles, a barter and matronage program, a monthly newsletter, a quarterly online journal of the Avalonian Mysteries ("The Tor Stone" -- http://www.torstone.org) and a multitude of learning opportunities, including the study of Celtic Culture, the Welsh Language and an immersion in the Avalonian Tradition.
