Group Overview: We are a reclaiming church of the Cybeline tradition . All are welcome at our public ceremonies, appoximately on the solar holidays. Our most important celebration of the year is the "Season of the Tree" when we offer the Cybeline mysteries to those wishing to receive them. This takes place in late March of the year on the weekend closest to the 24'th. The mysteries are not restricted by gender It is not necessary to renounce any other religious belief system to partake in the Cybeline mysteries. We are dedicated to charitable outreach as part and parcel of our spiritual path. We seek to re-establish women's values to the world as an answer to the world's problems.
The Maetreum maintains a Phrygianum (group home or convent) in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York that is on 3 acres and a 150+ year old Catskill resort inn. Women and men of all sexual orientations are welcome, as are transsexual women and intersexed women. Our new and full moon celebrations are open to all (any gender) as are most of our other celebrations. Our property is also a women's spirituality centre with a drop-in coffee/tea gatherings on Saturdays followed in the evenings with a Goddess oriented discussion group.
We offer our facilities to be used by other Pagan paths in a spirit of fostering cooperation among all spiritual people.
We are an incorporated religious organization with full 501 (c) (3) status.
