Group Overview: Afal Mawr Hearth of the Sisterhood of Avalon is a working community of SOA Sisters in the metro New York area.
The Sisterhood of Avalon™ is a fully incorporated, non-profit international Celtic Women's Mysteries Organization which seeks to balance Intuitive Wisdom with Scholastic Achievement. Among our activities, we sponsor the Avalonian Thealogical Seminary; facilitate international training intensives; host Spiritual Pilgrimages to Glastonbury and other Celtic Sacred Sites; support a barter and matronage program and a vast web of networking; publish The Barge, our monthly member newsletter and The Tor Stone: A Quarterly Journal for Women's Mysteries e-zine; and provide a variety of learning opportunities for wisdoms shared and insights gained.
The SOA is currently pursuing 501 (c) 3 status.
