NY Gospel Goddess Choir

Group Overview: It's been a while since I tried to start this group. It has not taken off but I am still interested. What is most needed is someone that writes and/or plays music as there are many singers that are interested.

The time has come to create Gospel music for the Pagan Community. I sang with a gospel choir for 4 years and have dreamed of having the same thing but with a Pagan context. This past Yule I was given a strong message from the Goddess to start this project.
I began doing research and this past Imbolc I was given more messages that the momentum is growing and that it was time to pull others into this project.
I am looking for a pianist, a director, lyricists, composers and of course singers. Some of the artists that have given me inspiration include Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Walter Hawkins, Cissy Houston, Mahalia Jackson and Avalon.
I already have half a dozen songs ready to go. I'll be forming a choir and plan to begin performing by the end of the summer.
